3oclockreep MP3 Release | 2008

3oclockreep Paul Westerberg

3oclockreep

This was released on Aug. 31, 2008, less than a month after “5:05” came out.  The “album”  was available on both Tunecore and Amazon.com (and is still for sale on Amazon) included 2 tracks: “Finally Here Once” and “3oclockreep”.  The cover art was once again homemade by Paul.

“Finally Here Once” is a single song, a 3 minute track. “3ocolockreep” is 20 minutes long and included  multiple songs — as well as about 10 minutes are outtakes from when Tha Mats were in the studio with Tom Waits, circa 1989. That session also produced the fabulous “Date To Church”, which appeared on a Sire CD sampler called “Just Say Mao” in 1989, part of their “Just Say Yes” series. It was also included on the 2008 reissue of “Don’t Tell A Soul”. I will go out on a limb and say there may – MAY – have been a few drinks consumed during that session, you can listen to a couple of the tracks below and see if you agree. Thanks  to MWT message board for breaking down the content of the file:
